This is such an exciting period for you and your future spouse. I am to remind you just how stress-free and fun the lead up to your wedding can be. I am also here to remind you that during this time it’s important to be kind to yourself and look out for number one.

So let me introduce myself….
My name is Tanya and I am a certified Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach (CI Level 4) specialising in wedding well-being for brides-to-be. For two years I have worked 1-2-1 directly with clients coaching them in how to improve their overall health through Nutrition and Lifestyle changes (hence the name Nuli).
My programmes for brides are all about gaining confidence in your appearance, building a better knowledge of healthier eating habits to suit you as an individual, as well as managing the stress that comes along with planning a wedding. When you look back at those wedding photos I want you to remember how happy and confident you felt as you walked down the aisle to commit to eternity with the love of your life. This isn’t about restrictive eating and starving yourself to achieve short-lived results. This is about nourishing your body with the right foods and finding a tailored well-being plan that suits you as an individual.

“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you going to love somebody else?!” Amen to that! I’ll share with you plenty of reasons why it’s important to love your body. Feeling good in your skin means accepting your flaws, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
It’s not a quick fix and it may not be so simple, but stick with me and together we will figure out a plan that works for you. All my plans are individually crafted and take into consideration that every person is different. Your economic situation, genetics and dietary requirements are all important, so if kale and spinach isn’t your thing then no dramas.
The lead up to your wedding day can be the most exhausting, energy-draining, money and time-consuming days of your life (aside from children of course, but we can come to that later!) I can teach you stress management techniques to alleviate the weighed-down feeling. Hopefully, by your wedding day, you’ll be floating down the aisle!
Factors like your blood sugar levels, iron levels or immune system could be impacting on your energy levels. If you feel like you struggle to get out of bed in the morning, wake up constantly at night and can’t keep your eyes open at work, then it’s time to get to the bottom of what this could be.

“Dieting” vs Healthy Eating
Dieting usually means the subtraction of certain food groups. Healthy eating is all about balance and should include all macronutrients. Carbohydrates, fats and proteins are all welcome here and they are all important as each other. Why? They all provide your body with the correct building blocks it needs to be happy and healthy.
Everything in Moderation
Too much of anything can put strain on your digestive system. But life would be very boring if we took away all the things we love! Part of having a balanced diet is being able to enjoy your favourite sweet treats without overindulging. I will help you get the balance right.
No food should be eaten with guilty feelings, as this could develop a very unhealthy relationship with food. If for example you are dining out and you order dessert after your meal, there is no harm in enjoying it knowing that you’ll be back to leafy greens the next day.
Junk in, Junk out
Energy slumps, skin breakouts, random bloating… Many people go years without exploring these symptoms further. Food has a lot of responsibility for the everyday symptoms we put up with. Stop seeing food as something to fill the empty gap and start seeing it as essential fuel to get your body functioning properly.
